TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Volleyball and Soccer.
FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events October 13-19)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:
- FCSAA DI Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week: Eduarda Fabricio, Miami Dade
- FCSAA DI Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week: Katianna Betancur, Miami Dade
- FCSAA DI Volleyball Setter of the Week: Eva Rovello, Hillsborough
- FCSAA DII Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week: Lovina Teel, St. Johns River State
- FCSAA DII Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week: Juliiet Morillo, St. Johns River State
- FCSAA DII Volleyball Setter of the Week: Jessica Horn, St. Johns River State
- FCSAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week: Matthew McCall, Daytona State

- Men's Soccer
- DI rankings: (3) Daytona State, (7) Eastern Florida State
- Daytona State clinched the No. 1 seed and will host the finals of the FCSAA DI Men's Soccer Championship on November 1. Miami Dade and Eastern Florida State will play in the semifinal match on October 30. The host site will be determined following the regular season finale between Eastern Florida State and Daytona State.
- Women's Soccer
- DI rankings: (1) Daytona State
- The FCSAA released the bracket for the FCSAA DI Women's Soccer Championship on Monday. The four-team, single-elimination event will take place at Miami Dade on October 23 and 25.
- Pensacola State clinched the FCSAA DII Women's Soccer Championship with a 3-0 win over Pasco-Hernando State on Friday. The Pirates went 3-0-1 against the Bobcats in the teams' head-to-head regular season series. Pensacola State will move on to the NJCAA DII South District Championship in Millbrook, Ala., October 31 and November 1.

- The FCSAA Cross Country Championships will take place at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla., on Friday, October 24. The men's 8K will start at 8 a.m. followed by the women's 5K at 9 a.m.
