TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Basketball.
FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events October 27-November 2)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:
- FCSAA DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: D.J. Shine, Northwest Florida State
- FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Marvin Golf, Palm Beach State
- FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Janiah Suprius, Palm Beach State

Fall Sports Roundup
- Visit the FCSAA Championships site for schedules and results, as well as links to printable brackets, video, photo galleries, event programs and recaps for the following fall sports:
- Soccer
- DI Men: Daytona State won the FCSAA DI Championship, defeating Eastern Florida State, 2-1, in Saturday's final. The Falcons will travel to USC Lancaster for Saturday's Southeast District Championship Match.
- DI Women: Daytona State defeated USC Lancaster, 1-0 in overtime, to win the Southeast District and earn a return trip to the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship in Enid, Okla., where they will attempt to defend their national title.
- DII Women: Pensacola State fell to Cape Fear, 2-1 in overtime, last Friday in the semifinals of the South District Tournament.
- Volleyball
- DI rankings: (1) Miami Dade, (3) Florida SouthWestern, (20) Daytona State
- DII rankings: (8) Gulf Coast State, (10) Pensacola State, (15) St. Johns River State, (24) Lake-Sumter State
- Baseball
- Three FCSAA member colleges were represented in the 2026 World Series. State College of Florida boasted two alums - Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski and Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Brendon Little, both of whom saw action in the Fall Classic, along with former St. Johns River State College Viking Myles Straw, an outfielder with the Blue Jays. Former Chipola College pitcher Bowden Francis was also on the Blue Jays' 40-man roster. The FCSAA had more alums in the World Series than any other NJCAA region and State College of Florida was the only school with multiple alums.
