TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Baseball, Softball and Women's Flag Football.

FCSAA Weekly Awards

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received recognition for their outstanding performance in athletic competition:

  • FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Jason Mack, Eastern Florida State
  • FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Cooper Whited, Gulf Coast State
  • FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Madison Conway, Santa Fe
  • FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Cailyn Heyl, Northwest Florida State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Cole Sofge, South Florida State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Cael Brannon, Palm Beach State
  • FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: Savannah Ellis, Lake-Sumter State
  • FCSAA DII Softball Pitcher of the Week: Amy Bak, Lake-Sumter State

  • Baseball
    • DI rankings: (7) Indian River State, (11) Florida SouthWestern, (13) Gulf Coast State, (15) Northwest Florida State, (21) Central Florida
    • DII rankings: (1) Pasco-Hernando State, (14) St. Johns River State, (23) South Florida State
  • Softball
    • DI rankings: (2) Florida SouthWestern, (3) Indian River State, (4) Northwest Florida State, (6) Seminole State, (9) Miami Dade, (11) Daytona State, (17) Eastern Florida State, (18) Santa Fe, (22) Chipola
    • DII rankings: (1) St. Johns River State, (16) Lake-Sumter State
  • Women's Golf
    • Daytona State captured the NJCAA DI South District Women's Golf Championship, 17 shots ahead of runner-up Eastern Florida State. Both teams earned berths in the NJCAA DI Women's Golf Championship. Seminole State's Asitha Ashok and Palm Beach State's Liv Romer earned at-large individual bids, however, both schools are in the hunt for one of five at-large team bids. 
  • Men's Golf
    • Eastern Florida State teed off in the NJCAA DI Southeast District Men's Golf Championship on Monday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  • Women's Tennis
    • Hillsborough swept its way to six individual and three doubles titles at the FCSAA Women's Tennis Championship, beating St. Petersburg and Eastern Florida State to claim the team title
  • Women's Flag Football
  • Beach Volleyball
    • Palm Beach State won its third straight FCSAA Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday, defeating State College of Florida. Both teams earned automatic bids to the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship.
