CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Florida State College at Jacksonville's Mei Chiang was named the NJCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday.
Chiang, a freshman from Fleming Island, Fla., enjoyed another banner weekend on the trails for the Manta Rays.
Running in the Valdosta State University Border Clash, Chiang won the event, which featured a field of 102 runners, comprised of both two- and four-year colleges.
She posted a 5K time of 19:58.3.
On Tuesday, Chiang was named FCSAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
