TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Daytona State College won a sixth consecutive team title and the Falcons' Hayden Clark took top individual honors on the DII side of the men's 8K at the 2025 FCSAA Cross Country Championships presented by Visit Tallahassee Sports.
Clark, who finished the 8K in a time of 26:08.7, led a 1-2-3 finish for Daytona State, who tallied 24 points in team scoring, easily outdistancing FCSAA DII Runner-up Pasco-Hernando State College, who had 66 points. Lake-Sumter State College (92 points) finished third.
Clark, all but led wire-to-wire, en route to giving the Falcons their sixth consecutive individual champion as well. Teammate Caden Baker, who went on to place fifth, took the lead from Clark at the 3K mark, but it was short-lived. Clark had re-gained the lead 1000 meters later and never relinguished it.
His 8K time ranks No. 8 all-time in the FCSAA Championships.
By virtue of winning, Clark was also named the FCSAA Division II Men's Runner of the Year and he led four Falcons on the seven-runner Division II All-FCSAA team. Jeffrey Belizaire and Luke Brewer, who placed second and third, respectively, and Baker rounded out the Daytona State quartet. Lake-Sumter State's Spencer Palmer (4th place) and Elijah Palmer (7th place) and Pasco-Hernando State's Malik Millet (6th place) completed the top seven.
Daytona State's Judy Wilson was named FCSAA DI Men's Coach of the Year.
Seminole State College was the lone Division I program to compete in the men's race.
Myles Egerton, recognized as the FCSAA DI Men's Runner of the Year, clocked a 26:37.7, which will also land on the soon-to-be-updated Top 25 FCSAA Championship race times.
