TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida College System Activities Association announced its All-FCSAA Women's Flag Football Team on Friday afternoon.
The All-FCSAA Team and the FCSAA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards were voted on by members of the FCSAA Women's Flag Football Committee.
Headlining the team is FCSAA Offensive Player of the Year Tremesha Harris and FCSAA Defensive Player of the Year London Jenkins, both of Florida Gateway College.
Harris, a sophomore from Jacksonville, Fla., is listed as an "athlete" on the Timberwolves' roster and backed that up, earning All-FCSAA recognition on both sides of the ball - one of five players to accomplish the feat. Offensively, she has recorded 81 receptions for 1,076 yards and 22 touchdowns while also being credited with nine receiving extra points.
Jenkins, a freshman linebacker from Jacksonville, Fla., joined Harris as a two-way All-FCSAA performer. Defensively, she recorded 61 tackles, including four for a loss, had 18 pass break-ups, nine interceptions and four defensive touchdowns.
The FCSAA awards will be presented in between games on Saturday during the FCSAA Women's Flag Football Championship in Lake City, Fla.
