CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Palm Beach State College's Ryan Senecal was named the NJCAA Division II Baseball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Senecal, a freshman outfielder from Jupiter, Fla., batted .571 (8-for-14) with six runs scored, one double, four home runs and 14 RBI in three games, helping the Panthers to a three-game sweep of South Florida State.
In game one, he went 4-for-5, homered twice and drove in eight runs in the Panthers' 21-9 win. Senecal hit two more homers in the series finale, going 3-for-5, scoring three runs and driving in six.
He was named the FCSAA Division II Baseball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
