TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida College System Activities Association is excited to announce that the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau will serve as the presenting sponsor for the 2026 FCSAA Division II Baseball Championship.
This year's event is scheduled for April 30-May 3 at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla. It marks the second straight year the facility has hosted an FCSAA Championship event – the DI Baseball Championship Round was played there in 2025.
"The FCSAA looks forward to returning to Charlotte County for another exciting week on the diamond," said Rob Chaney, FCSAA Associate Director and Athletics Commissioner. "After a great experience in 2025, we immediately began working on the next opportunity to bring an FCSAA Championship to Southwest Florida.
"The Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau was an outstanding partner in 2025, and I appreciate their ongoing support of the FCSAA and our commitment to deliver a first-class experience for student-athletes, coaches and fans."
"The Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau is proud to welcome back the Florida College System Activities Association for the Division II Baseball Championship. Charlotte Sports Park, the spring training home of the Tampa Bay Rays, provides an outstanding venue for competition, while our area offers unforgettable experiences for visiting athletes and their families. We're excited for both residents and visitors to enjoy these highly competitive games," said Sean Walter, Business Development Director for the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau.
