CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA announced its Weekly Awards on Wednesday and State College of Florida's Myles Davis was named the Division I Baseball Player of the Week.
Davis, a freshman designated hitter from Marion, Iowa, batted .625 (10-for-16) with nine runs scored, two doubles, three home runs, and nine RBI in four games last week.
He hit safely in each game, helping the Manatees to a perfect 4-0 week.
Davis was 4-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in a non-conference win vs. Florida SouthWestern to begin the week.
In the season finale, he went 3-for-4, scored three runs, homered and drove in two vs. St. Petersburg.
On Tuesday, he was named FCSAA Division I Baseball Player of the Week.
