TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Volleyball, Soccer and Cross Country.
FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events September 15-21)

- FCSAA DI Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week: Pamela Dejesus Tejedor, Hillsborough
- FCSAA DI Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week: Katianna Betancur, Miami Dade
- FCSAA DI Volleyball Setter of the Week: Eleonora Gicheva, Miami Dade
- FCSAA DII Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week: Sandy Cao, St. Petersburg
- FCSAA DII Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week: Addison Danforth, Pensacola State

- General News
- Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) and the LSSC Foundation celebrated the dedication of its baseball and softball complex, now named the Mike Matulia Fields at J. Carlisle Rogers Stadium, on Wednesday.
- Volleyball
- DI rankings: (1) Florida SouthWestern, (2) Miami Dade, (16) Eastern Florida State, (18) Daytona State
- DII rankings: (6) Gulf Coast State, (7) Pensacola State, (19) Lake-Sumter State
- Men's Soccer
- DI rankings: (2) Eastern Florida State, (7) Daytona State
- Women's Soccer
- DI rankings: (1) Daytona State, (9) Eastern Florida State
- Tennis
- Men: Eastern Florida State had a big weekend at the ITA JUCO Men's Southeast Regionals, winning both the singles and doubles titles.
- Cross Country
- A slower weekend on the trails only saw two teams in action. The Chipola College women and Florida Gateway College's men's and women's team traveled to Albany, Ga., for the Willie Laster Invitational.
- DII men's rankings: (6) Daytona State, (12) Pasco-Hernando State, (18) Eastern Florida State, (19) Lake-Sumter State
- DII women's rankings: (5) Daytona State, (15) Pasco-Hernando State, (23) Eastern Florida State, (RV) Gulf Coast State
- Golf
- Men: Eastern Florida State won the team title and Palm Beach State placed fourth at the Seahawk Shootout, hosted by Keiser University. Palm Beach State boasted the top individual finisher with Talan Wilkes placing in a tie for fourth at 3-under par.
- Women: Daytona State opened its fall season in a loaded field at the Lady Paladin Invitational, hosted by Furman University. Alana Kutt was the Falcons' top finishing, placing 29th with a score of four-over par.
- Swimming & Diving
- Indian River State kicked off the season with a dual meet vs. FAU. The 2025-26 campaign will end with The River hosting the 2026 NJCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in March.
