- FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Marvin Golf, Palm Beach State

- Polk State College's Mike Ferguson was recently recognized by College Sports Communicators, who named him December's Two-Year Sports Information Director of the Month.

- Swimming & Diving
- Men: Indian River State has picked up a pair of wins in dual meets this month, defeating Nova Southeastern (163-99) and Ave Maria (230-51). Both Indian River State and Florida Keys will be in action at the Craigie Invitational on February 6-8.
- Women: The River women have split its two dual meets in January, falling to Nova Southeastern (83-179) before bouncing back to beat Ave Maria (238-50). Both Indian River State and Florida Keys will be in action at the Craigie Invitational on February 6-8.
