TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in basketball, baseball and softball.

FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events January 26-February 1)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:

  • FCSAA DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Trent Lincoln, Gulf Coast State
  • FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Marvin Golf, Palm Beach State
  • FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Meredith Venner, Miami Dade
  • FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Alejandro Abreut, Seminole State
  • FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Colton Sampson, Seminole State
  • FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Mallory Collier, Tallahassee State
  • FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Marlee Parsons, Northwest Florida State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Isaac Incinelli, St. Johns River State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Jack Johnson, Lake-Sumter State
  • FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: A'Lana Martinez, State College of Florida

FCSAA Sports Roundup

  • The FCSAA Team Store has re-opened, courtesy of BSN Sports, and will remain open for the rest of the spring semester, providing access to FCSAA-branded gear throughout the winter and spring championship seasons. 
  • Baseball: St. Johns River State College welcomed former Vikings and current MLB stars Myles Straw and Nate Lowe to Tyndall Field on Sunday for a jersey retirement ceremony.
  • Softball: On January 24, Seminole State dedicated its softball field as Courtney Miller Field, honoring retired head coach Courtney Miller for her extraordinary 30-year career.
