TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in Baseball, Softball and Women's Golf.
FCSAA Weekly Awards
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who received recognition for their outstanding performance in athletic competition:
- FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Luke Boykin, State College of Florida
- FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Jordan Martinez, Gulf Coast State
- FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Madison Conway, Santa Fe
- FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Lizzy Kwakernaak, Florida SouthWestern
- FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Juan Lopez, Pasco-Hernando State
- FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Michael Savarese, Pasco-Hernando State
- FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: Bailey LeGere, St. Johns River State

- The FCSAA DI Baseball Championship Round gets underway Friday, May 9 in Port Charlotte, Fla. All games can be seen on the FCSAA Digital Network.
- Pasco-Hernando State won the FCSAA DII Baseball Championship to advance to the NJCAA DII South District Championship Series in Troy, Ala., May 9-11 against ACCC Champion Wallace-Dothan.
- Softball
- DI rankings: (1) Florida SouthWestern, (3) Northwest Florida State, (4) Indian River State, (6) Seminole State, (11) Miami Dade, (15) Santa Fe, (17) Eastern Florida State, (18) Daytona State, (22) Chipola
- DII rankings: (1) St. Johns River State, (18) Lake-Sumter State
- The FCSAA DI Softball Championship gets underway on Tuesday with the Wild Card Game between Gulf Coast State and Miami Dade. The winner moves into double-elimination bracket play, which begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, as the No. 8 seed. All games can be seen on the FCSAA Digital Network.
- St. Johns River State won the FCSAA DII Softball Championship and will host the NJCAA DII South District Championship Series, May 9-10 against ACCC Champion Central Alabama.
- Women's Golf
- DI: Seminole State and Palm Beach State earned at-large bids to the NJCAA DI Women's Golf Championship, joining Daytona State and Eastern Florida State in the field.
- Women's Flag Football
- Florida Gateway and Daytona State opened play at the NJCAA Flag Football Invitational on Monday. Florida Gateway beat Pratt, 82-6, while Daytona State triumped over Bryant & Stratton, 33-19.
- Women's Tennis
- After Sunday's Day 2 at the NJCAA DI Women's Tennis Championship, Hillsborough was in a three-way tie for first place with 27 points. Eastern Florida State was in fourth with 26 points and St. Petersburg was fifth with 24.5 points. Rain interrupted the completion of Day 3 on Monday but not before the Hawks won all six of its singles matches and all of its three doubles matches.
- Beach Volleyball
- Palm Beach State won its third straight NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, defeating State College of Florida in the finals. Lake-Sumter State finished fourth.
