DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Kenyon Giles

  • In his only game of the week, he recorded 26 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in the Bucs' 85-70 win over Santa Fe
  • Shot 47.1 percent (8-of-17) from the field, hit 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from three and made all three free throw attempts

  • Named the Most Outstanding Player of the FCSAA DII Men's Basketball Championship
  • Averaged 11.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.5 blocks in two games
  • Shot 36.0 percent (9-of-25) from the field and 75.0 percent (3-of-4) from the line
  • Led Palm Beach State to its first FCSAA Basketball Championship in 48 years

  • Averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in two games
  • Shot 58.8 percent (20-of-34) from the field, 40.0 percent (4-of-10) from three and 100.0 percent (4-of-4) from the line while leading the Raiders to a 2-0 week
  • Recorded 15 points and four rebounds vs. Gulf Coast State
  • Finished the regular season with 33 points on 13-of-20 shooting, six rebounds, four assists and three steals vs. Chipola

  • Hit safely, reached base multiple times (had four BB) and scored at least twice in each game, helping Chipola to a 5-0 week
  • Began the week going 1-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI vs. Wallace-Dothan
  • In a four-game series vs. Grand Rapids, he was 7-for-11, including 3-for-3 with four runs scored, two homers and five RBI in game three of the series

  • Led the Titans to a 4-0 week with four multi-hit, multi-RBI outings
  • Was 3-for-3 with a homer, two runs scored and three RBI in game one vs. Seminole; scored two runs and drove in three in game two
  • Against Hillsborough, she went 3-for-3, scored three runs and drove in three in game one; had four RBI in game two

  • Hit two more homers in the series finale, going 3-for-5, scoring three runs and driving in six

  • Hit safely in each game for the Vikings
  • Had two hits and drove in two runs in game one of a doubleheader vs. Wallace-Hanceville
  • Drove in three runs and was 3-for-5, finishing a triple shy of the cycle, in game one vs. Lake-Sumter State

DII Softball Pitcher of the Week

Dava Hoffer

  • 2-0, 1.75 ERA in two appearances
  • Picked up a pair of complete-game victories against South Florida State, including a one-hit, five-inning shutout (8-0) in game two of the series
  • In the series finale, she went the distance in the Manatees' 7-6, 11-inning victory
  • Totaled 16 innings in the circle, allowing 12 hits, four earned runs and eight walks while striking out nine

Tripp Watkins

  • Has participated in two spring events to date for the Lakehawks
  • In a field of 48 participants, he won the season-opening Lakehawk Invitational with a score of +3
  • Last week, he finished third out of 86 participants at the Pioneers Invitational, again with a score of +3
  • Currently the No. 21-ranked DII player in the country

Women's Golfer of the Month

Mila Tang

  • Has participated in two spring events to date for the Titans
  • Opened the spring with an eighth-place finish (out of 87) at the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational with a score of +6
  • Won the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite with a score of +4 to finish atop a field of 43 participants
  • Currently the No. 4-ranked NJCAA DI women's player in the country
